At Calsonic Kansei we quantitatively evaluate the amount of environmental burden output by our business operations, and strive to reduce this burden by sufficiently understanding the impact of our operations. With reductions to carbon emissions (which contribute to global warming), and effective use of the earth's resources, we work towards reducing the burden we place on the environment and contribute to the construction of a sustainable society.

Measures for global warming We promote the activities from both, reduction of CO2 emission from each plant and reduction of CO2 emission basic unit.	Reduction of scrap emitted by production activities CalsonicKansei has tackled activities targeted the reducing amount of final landfill disposal for measures of waste reduction, and has promotes "zero emission" activities to reduce amount of general waste from business activities including domestic waste to zero. Water supply amount and its measures of reduction We have performed reduction by the following measures. . Installation of water saving tab . Diversion of rainwater to general service water . Use of circulated cooling water . Reduction of amount of wash water by no washing of parts
Total control of chemical substances CalsonicKansei has set the reduction target of the PRTR designated substances release amount and tackled the reduction of release amount of it.
